FORT WILLIAM PROJECT KICK-OFF
D3A has a fascinating project kicking off in Fort William this week.
St Andrew’s Church, Fort William, built in 1880, remains a prominent feature of the High Street and the building continues to attract significant numbers of visitors. Like many historic buildings, it now faces the challenge of ongoing repair and refurbishment, alongside the need to adapt for the future.
Our brief is to develop a feasibility study that brings this all together, including:
A site-wide energy audit and decarbonisation plan
Exploring future uses and enhancing visitor potential
A clear repair and maintenance strategy
This week, Simon Timperley (Principal Architect) and Brad Murray (Building Services Engineer) have travelled over 200 miles from our Hexham office to get things underway.
We're looking forward to shaping a sustainable future for such an important local asset.
