ZERO CARBON HARROGATE COMMUNITY PRESENTATION

Yesterday evening, Geoff and Nick from the D3A Energy team attended Switching on Community Energy, an event organised by our client Zero Carbon Harrogate to explore how community-owned renewable energy could come to Harrogate and Knaresborough.

D3A has been working with Zero Carbon Harrogate on a feasibility study looking at the potential for community-owned solar across key local buildings. This evening was a chance to share lessons learned, explore what could happen next, and show how a fully funded community energy project could generate clean power, lower energy bills, and keep money in the local area.

As part of this event Geoff presented the findings of the feasibility study and joined a Q&A panel to discuss next steps with the community.

It was a fantastic evening packed with engaged, passionate local residents ready to make clean energy a reality in their area. We look forward to supporting Zero Carbon Harrogate as this project moves forward.
