WELCOME IAN

It’s funny how life turns out…

As a child, Ian Williamson, our newest D3A recruit, dreamed of being a fireman. Later, after studying structural drafting, he worked for a manufacturing company where he designed a fireplace that achieved the lowest emissions in the company’s entire product range.

Fast forward to today: having gained invaluable DH experience, Ian has joined D3A as Senior District Heating Designer. Every day brings a new puzzle to solve - and Ian loves seeing his designs come to life and perform in the real world.

Based in deepest Gloucester, Ian is part of our growing remote workforce - but he’s already made the trip to our Hexham office (luckily, he enjoys travelling).

We’re excited to have Ian on the team, bringing his design expertise and problem-solving mindset to help us deliver smarter district heating solutions. Welcome aboard Ian.
