WORK EXPERIENCE WEEK FOR MARIA

This week, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Maria Grimes for her Industrial Placement. Maria, a Year 12 student from Queen Elizabeth High School in Hexham, is exploring career paths in Architecture and Chemical Engineering.

The whole team, led by Danka, our Senior Architect, came together to give Maria a real taste of the industry. She’s gained hands-on experience in architectural design, 3D modelling, and CAD, and also spent time with our Energy Team learning about renewable energy sources and district energy systems.

Who can remember being at this stage of life themselves, when the future feels full of possibility and also a little daunting? We hope Maria’s week with us at D3A has been valuable, and that it helps her take the next step with confidence.

The next generation is making its way into the workforce and we’re delighted to have played a small part in setting Maria up for a successful career whichever direction she chooses.
