METHODIST CHURCH NET ZERO PROJECTS

With our client, the Yorkshire North & East Methodist District, still firmly focused on their target to be entirely Net Zero by 2040, we carried out site visits to progress Decarbonisation works at three churches in Harrogate and Knaresborough.

The churches - Bishop Monkton, Gracious St and Starbeck - each have their own unique requirements based on their age and construction but in order to make them Net Zero ready we are recommending and project managing the installation of a mix of insulation, new glazing, LED lighting and solar PV with battery storage. At 40kW, the solar installation a Gracious St will be our largest to date.
