BIG STEPS TOWARDS A CLEANER COAST

D3A has been appointed by Cumberland Council to deliver a Renewable Energy Technical Feasibility Study for the Port of Workington - supporting its transition to net zero and attracting new investment.

The Council’s vision is ambitious: to position the Port as a hub for clean and green industries, strengthening Cumbria’s Clean Energy Coast through its role as both an operational base and a green logistics centre.

Our team will soon be on site to assess current energy use and pinpoint opportunities for low-carbon technologies that can power the Port’s next chapter.
