PAVILLION REFURBISHMENT

TYNEDALE TENNIS CLUB

 

BACKGROUND

Following a successful Sports England Inspired Facilities submission, Tynedale Tennis Club where allocated an Olympic Legacy grant to renovate their tennis courts and club house pavilion.

The 125 year old, timber clad club house, encompasses changing rooms, kitchen and meeting facilities and required renovation and remodelling to update the facilities and provide a bright and welcoming environment. d3associates were appointed to carry out the design, tender and contract administration for the refurbishment works and undertake the role of project managers.  

OUTCOME

Following a comprehensive survey of the Club House Pavilion and close liaison with the client working group, d3associates produced designs to bring the facilities up to a modern standard. The works included interior re-modelling of the changing areas and meeting room, renewing the kitchen & refurbishment of the amenities.

d3associates fulfilled their role as client agent by preparing specifications and obtaining tenders from local contractors, and satisfied our role as project managers ensuring the works were completed in a timely manner and within budget.
