From TODAY, Ofgem’s heat networks regulations officially take effect. This marks a major step: heat networks are now recognised as a regulated utility, with clear responsibilities for operators to deliver outcomes for consumers, meet technical standards, and provide transparent, fair pricing.

Alongside gearing up for compliance with the forthcoming HNTAS standards means there’s a lot for operators to navigate.
