ENERGY CENTRES

ENERGY CENTRE DESIGN

We manage projects from concept to completion, be it starting from the initial feasibility design or by adapting and enhancing an existing layout with the aim to optimise the space provision and achieve the best building solution. Our design approach is always led by our understanding of the building and that of our client’s unique needs and aspirations. We work closely with our clients and believe collaboration is essential when aiming to create buildings that are energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective.

ENERGY CENTRE SERVICES

  • LEAD DESIGNER

Our team delivers Lead Designer services through experienced professionals who manage and coordinate all aspects of project design. This includes overseeing the wider design team, preparing design programmes, chairing design meetings, reporting to the client, and liaising with statutory authorities.

The Lead Designer plays a central role in integrating and coordinating input from all design disciplines - identifying gaps, resolving design clashes, and ensuring cohesive, robust solutions. Acting as a single point of contact, the Lead Designer provides clarity and continuity throughout the design process.

  • ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

We believe in the power of clear communication and collaboration. Our designs reflect client aspirations, balancing creativity, cost-efficiency, and quality throughout. We support all RIBA Stages - from early briefing to on-site coordination - ensuring every vision is delivered with care.

Our team combines hand-drawn creativity with advanced 3D design tools like Revit, offering flexible and coordinated solutions. Working closely with our in-house energy specialists, we deliver integrated, sustainable design at every stage.

  • PRINCIPAL DESIGNER (CDM & BUILDING REGULATIONS)

We provide both CDM Principal Designer and Building Regulations Principal Designer services. Our team ensures health and safety compliance under CDM Regulations, while coordinating and monitoring design work to meet Building Regulations.

We take a pragmatic, collaborative approach - integrating safety and regulatory compliance into the design from the outset.

With the Building Safety Act 2022 introducing greater responsibilities across the project team, we maintain rigorous control and oversight to ensure compliance on projects of all scales and complexity.

  • MULTI-DISCIPLINARY DESIGN TEAM SERVICES

We have extensive experience acting as Multi-Disciplinary Lead, coordinating consultant teams and specialist disciplines on complex, high-value projects.

Where required, we can provide a full in-house multi-disciplinary team, offering integrated design services including Architecture, Lead Designer, CDM Principal Designer, Building Regulations Principal Designer, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Structural and Civil Engineering.

  • PLANNING

Our core services include the full coordination of planning activities—from early engagement with the Local Planning Authority and preparation of pre-application submissions to managing all necessary surveys and studies in support of a full planning application.

We have experience presenting at Planning Committee meetings, where required, and can manage the application through to determination. We also provide support with the discharge of planning conditions to help ensure smooth project progression.

  • TEMPORARY ENERGY CENTRE DESIGN

We support the design and planning of Temporary Energy Centres—whether as an interim phase of a larger development or where extended timescales make one necessary. Our services can include a full multi-disciplinary design team and all associated planning support, tailored to project needs.
