COMMUNITY ENERGY AWARDS

Great news for our client the Yorkshire North & East Methodist District, who’ve been nominated in this year’s Community Energy Awards.

Having pledged, to achieve Net Zero by 2040, the Church, worked closely with d3associates to progress their flagship ‘Tea & PV’ Project, which saw seven churches, frequented by 160,000 visitors annually, equipped with solar panels and battery storage.

Community Energy England highlighted the project as “an illustration of how a community-led approach, powered by volunteers and inclusivity, could create a meaningful impact”.

Good luck on the night to the team who’ve worked so hard to make this project come to life and especially to Adele Borrowman who’s excellent fundraising makes it all possible.
