Geoff has visited Newcastle University’s School of Engineering, presenting a lecture as part of the Energy Management module.

Having welcomed 2 new faces to our Architectural team over the last few weeks, it’s now the turn of our Energy team. Suhail Khan has moved to the north east from Leeds to join d3a as a Design Engineer.

The energy generation sector is increasing renewable output via a diverse energy mix and great strides have been made within our transport system, with a general move towards electrification. However, a part of the eco-system where the solution has always been far more complex, relates to the way in which we heat our homes and businesses.

Our industry very nearly lost Brad's talents to the stage - as he considered treading the boards at drama school - but fortunately, the world of mechanical engineering won the day.

As Senior Design Engineer and fully qualified Heat Networks Consultant, David has worked on energy projects varying from global decarbonisation strategies to inner city district energy schemes.

Geoff is a highly skilled Engineer and Project Manager, with a Masters in renewable energy.
