HEAT MAPPING

Lots of heat mapping going on at d3a this week. Scoping out the heat networks of the future. Quantifying demand and mapping pipe routes for optimal distribution and minimal heat loss.

These are the questions we are looking to answer...

  • How much pipework is needed?

  • How much excavation is required?

  • What will it cost?

  • How much heat will be lost in transmission?

It comes down to the numbers at the end of the day and they need to add up.

We love being involved in the early stages of such ambitious decarbonisation projects, investigating the fundamentals, proving the numbers, and ultimately providing the keys to unlock the funds that make things happen.
